Disobedience is a serious offense, stemming from Adam and Eve’s first sin, where humanity chose self-will over God’s will, leading to spiritual separation and suffering. It involves willfully rejecting God’s commands or those of legitimate authorities (like parents, Church leaders) who represent God, turning from love of God to prideful self-exaltation, especially when it concerns fundamental Church teachings or core moral truths.
