Mother’s Love

Card Type: Enhancement | Timeline: New Testament
Overview:

Mother’s Love reflects the selfless, nurturing, and faithful love shown by mothers in the New Testament, most perfectly exemplified by the Blessed Virgin Mary. From Christ’s birth to His Crucifixion, Mary cared for and remained devoted to her Son, faithfully accepting God’s will even in times of sorrow and uncertainty (Luke 1:38; John 19:25–27).

The New Testament also highlights the influence of faithful mothers such as Eunice, who helped pass on the faith to her son Timothy (2 Timothy 1:5). These examples reveal a love marked by sacrifice, compassion, encouragement, and spiritual guidance.

Mother’s love symbolizes God’s care for His children and reminds believers of the importance of nurturing faith, offering support, and remaining faithful through both joy and suffering.
