The Guiding Star recalls the star that appeared at the birth of Jesus Christ and led the Magi from the East to the newborn King. Following its light, the wise men journeyed to Judea in search of the Messiah, eventually finding Jesus and offering Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh (Matthew 2:1–11).
The star served as a divine sign, guiding seekers to Christ and revealing Him not only to Israel but also to the nations. It fulfilled ancient hopes that a ruler would arise from God’s people and demonstrated God’s providence in leading those who sincerely seek Him.
The Guiding Star symbolizes divine guidance, revelation, hope, and the journey of faith that leads believers to Christ.
