Saint Dominic Savio was a young Italian student and disciple of Saint John Bosco who became known for his deep holiness at an early age. As a boy, he embraced a strong devotion to God, frequent prayer, and a sincere desire to avoid sin while growing in virtue. Under the guidance of Don Bosco, he formed a simple personal motto of striving for holiness and doing ordinary things with great love for God.
Dominic was especially devoted to the Eucharist and confession, and he encouraged his peers to live with purity, joy, and faith. Despite his short life, he became a model of youthful sanctity, showing that holiness is possible even in childhood.
He died at the age of 14, leaving behind a legacy of simplicity, devotion, and spiritual maturity beyond his years.
