Arrogance is a manifestation of Pride, characterized by an excessive love of self, refusal to submit to God and authority, and contempt for others, leading to self-reliance and isolation from God’s grace. It’s not about healthy self-esteem but an inward focus where one believes they are superior, or don’t need divine help, often seen as the “I will not serve” attitude of Lucifer.
