Lust is a disordered, inordinate craving for sexual pleasure that turns a person into an object, separating sex from love, union, and procreation intended by God, often manifesting as self-centered desire outside of marriage or in ways contrary to marital laws. It’s not just actions, but also the deliberate indulgence of lustful thoughts or fantasies, which Jesus equates to adultery in the heart.
