Ezekiel’s Vision refers to the extraordinary vision of heavenly beings seen by the prophet Ezekiel. The image of a celestial being covered with eyes and possessing wings is especially associated with the four living creatures described by Ezekiel and later echoed in the New Testament book of Revelation.
In Ezekiel’s vision, the prophet saw four living creatures, each with multiple wings and extraordinary appearances, surrounding the manifestation of God’s glory. Later, John the Apostle described four living creatures around God’s heavenly throne, each “”full of eyes in front and behind”” and continually praising God.
