“Let There Be Light” recalls the first act of creation, when God spoke light into existence at the beginning of the world. Before the formation of the sun, moon, and stars, darkness covered the face of the deep. By His word alone, God commanded, “Be light made,” and light immediately came into being. This revealed God’s absolute power and authority over all creation.
The creation of light marked the beginning of order in the universe and the separation of light from darkness. Throughout Scripture, light becomes a symbol of God’s presence, truth, wisdom, holiness, and salvation. Just as physical light dispels darkness, God’s truth overcomes ignorance and sin.
This moment stands as a testament to the creative power of God, who brings life, order, and beauty from what was formless and void. It reminds believers that all creation depends upon His word and that His light guides His people through every age.
