Authority over Nature recalls the power Jesus Christ demonstrated over the natural world during His earthly ministry. Through miracles such as calming storms, walking on water, multiplying loaves and fishes, and causing miraculous catches of fish, Jesus revealed His divine authority over creation. These signs showed that the forces of nature are subject to Him and testified that He is more than a prophet—He is the Lord of creation itself.
These miracles strengthened the faith of His disciples and revealed God’s care for His people. They also pointed to the restoration of creation under Christ’s reign and invited believers to trust Him in times of uncertainty, fear, and need.
