Young but Wise

Card Type: Enhancement | Timeline: New Testament
Overview:

“Young but Wise” recalls the wisdom displayed by Jesus during His youth when He remained in the Temple and amazed the teachers with His understanding and answers. At only twelve years old, Jesus sat among the scholars, listening, asking questions, and demonstrating extraordinary wisdom that astonished all who heard Him (Luke 2:41–52).

This event reveals that true wisdom comes from God and is not limited by age. It encourages young people to seek knowledge, grow in faith, and devote themselves to understanding God’s truth. The example of the young Jesus shows that spiritual maturity, discernment, and devotion to God’s will can be present even in youth.
