Walking on Water recalls the miracle in which Jesus Christ walked upon the Sea of Galilee, demonstrating His authority over creation. As the disciples struggled against wind and waves during the night, Jesus came to them walking on the water. Though initially afraid, they were reassured by His presence (Matthew 14:22–33).
During this event, Peter stepped out of the boat and walked toward Jesus. When he focused on the storm rather than on Christ, he began to sink, but Jesus immediately reached out and saved him (Matthew 14:28–31). The miracle revealed Jesus’ divine power and taught the importance of trusting Him amid fear and uncertainty.
Walking on Water symbolizes faith, courage, perseverance, and confidence in Christ’s power over every obstacle.
